January is GO (Get Organized) Month according to the National Association of Productivity & Organizing Professionals (NAPO). As an active member and the former Chair of our NAPOCares Social Responsibility Committee, I’m running a contest for nonprofits. All you need to do for a chance to win is complete and submit the online application by Tuesday, December 31, 2024. The link is at the bottom of this page. One lucky winner will be selected and notified by Wednesday, January 15, 2025.
Since a picture is worth a thousand words, below are “before” & “after” photos of previous GO Month contest winners from the Myrtle Beach, SC area. These organizing projects were completed in-person with the help of at least one of their volunteers.
However, the end result of some projects are may not be easily visible to the naked eye so below are just a few examples of problems I can help you solve:

Productivity
Processes/procedures are not documented resulting in lack of consistency and duplication of effort.

Top priorities are not identified and therefore employees are working on less important projects.

Documents are not stored in the cloud so employees can’t access them when home, on the road, on vacation, etc.

Either in-person (Greater Myrtle Beach, SC area) or virtually via video (depending on the nonprofit’s location)
